Alma

Search a directory of therapists who take your insurance, book a free consultation, and pay your copay per session.

You search Alma's directory by insurance, state and specialty, book a free consultation with a therapist, and then meet by video or in person. If the therapist is in network with your plan, you pay your copay or coinsurance; otherwise you pay the therapist's own rate, which Alma says usually falls between $130 and $380 a session, and some offer a sliding scale. Alma mainly works with commercial plans, not Medicaid.

  • From Copay with insurance; therapist's own rate self-pay (Alma says usually $130–$380/session)
