About Open Path Collective
Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is a nonprofit directory, not a therapy provider. Members pay a one-time $65 membership fee (refundable within 10 days) and can then book reduced-fee sessions with participating therapists in the US and Canada, online or in person. Per Open Path's FAQ, individual sessions are $40–$70, couples and family sessions $40–$80, and sessions with supervised student interns $30. You pay the therapist directly, and Open Path takes no share of session fees. Therapists do not bill insurance for Open Path sessions, though HSA/FSA funds can be used. Eligibility is aimed at people who cannot afford market rates, are uninsured or underinsured, and have household income below $100,000 (or $140,000 CAD); Open Path asks people who can use their insurance to do so.
