About Equip

Equip is a virtual eating disorder treatment program that brings gold-standard Family-Based Treatment (FBT) to patients of all ages through telehealth. The program includes a dedicated 5-person treatment team: therapist, dietitian, physician, peer mentor (someone with lived experience), and family mentor. Equip treats anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and other eating disorders. The family-based approach means caregivers are actively involved in treatment, which research shows produces better outcomes especially for adolescents. Treatment happens through video appointments and the Equip app. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
