About Calm Health
Calm Health is a separate app from Calm, offered only by invitation through a health plan, employer or care team. You answer standard screening questionnaires, get a personalised action plan, and work through self-guided programs for anxiety, depression, sleep, stress and mindfulness, as well as programs for chronic conditions such as heart disease and cancer, life events such as divorce or bereavement, and specific jobs such as nursing. It also includes Calm's meditations and Sleep Stories. The app says it is not meant to diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for care from a clinician. There is no cost to eligible members; for example, Massachusetts state employees and their households get it through their benefits. Its privacy policy says it does not sell data for payment but may share limited data for cross-context targeted advertising, and anyone can ask for their data to be deleted. We found no published study of Calm Health itself.
