Amazon One Medical

Membership primary care from Amazon, by app, video and in some cities in clinics; its doctors treat common anxiety and depression.

You join One Medical ($9 a month or $99 a year with Prime, or $199 a year without) and book video, message or in-office visits with primary care clinicians, who can treat common anxiety, depression, stress and sleep problems and prescribe medication. Therapy is only offered in some areas; otherwise they refer you to therapists and psychiatrists. Visits are billed to your insurance, or you can pay per visit without a membership.

What we couldn't verify

  • Clinical evidence is limited or still emerging

Amazon Health Services is a single HIPAA covered entity; it says it does not sell personal information or PHI and won't use One Medical health data to market other Amazon products without permission. Deletion can be requested, but medical records are kept as law requires. The FTC warned Amazon about patient-data use when the 2023 merger closed (a statement, not a finding).
