About Meru Health
Meru Health runs a 12-week, app-based treatment program for depression, anxiety and burnout. You start with a video intake with a licensed therapist who stays with you through the program. Each week has short pre-recorded lessons and practices drawing on mindfulness-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral activation, plus sleep and nutrition guidance. You can message your therapist in the app and schedule a limited number of video sessions (Meru's FAQ says up to four during the program). Participants get a heart-rate-variability biofeedback device for breathing practice and can join an anonymous peer community. Meru Health is offered through some health plans and employers; it also accepts self-pay and HSA/FSA, but does not publish a self-pay price. Teens 13+ can be enrolled by a parent or guardian. In May 2026 the company announced Meru Health Advanced, a program for adults with more complex or treatment-resistant conditions.
