Board-certified psychiatrists and mental health professionals

Indications

Mechanism

DMT is a serotonergic psychedelic primarily acting as a 5-HT2A receptor agonist, with additional activity at 5-HT1A and sigma-1 receptors. In therapy, the psychedelic state may facilitate breakthroughs in cognition, emotional regulation, and therapeutic alliance.
