About Psious

Psious is a behavioral health technology platform founded in 2013 in Spain that provides virtual reality exposure therapy (VRET) for mental health treatment. The Psious Toolsuite consists of a VR app and web-based control panel that allows clinicians to guide patients through immersive 3D simulations for treating phobias, anxiety disorders, and PTSD. The platform is hardware-agnostic and works with smartphones and 3D goggles without complex equipment investments. Designed by psychologists, Psious was built as a complementary tool to help clinicians manage exposure therapy challenges, providing a controlled environment between in-vivo and imaginal exposure. VRET has been validated by over 20 years of psychological research. Note: Psious was acquired by Amelia Virtual Care, which subsequently folded into XRHealth's platform.
