Mescaline-Assisted Therapy

Mechanism

Mescaline acts primarily as a serotonin 5-HT2A receptor agonist, inducing altered states of consciousness, heightened introspection, and perceptual changes. Its effects may support emotional breakthroughs and increased psychological flexibility when combined with psychotherapy.

Protocol

Preparation

Several preparatory psychotherapy sessions are recommended to establish safety and therapeutic goals.

Procedure

  1. Oral ingestion of mescaline (synthetic or cactus-derived)
  2. Therapeutic support and monitoring throughout 8–12 hour session
  3. Integration therapy in the following days

Frequency: 1–3 sessions, spaced weeks apart

Duration: 8–12 hours per dosing session

Total Treatment Time: Several months including preparation and integration
