The Dialer enables physicians to make HIPAA-compliant video and phone calls to patients while masking their personal phone numbers with their office number. The platform is free for verified physicians, which has driven massive adoption—over 85% of US physicians use Doximity, and the Dialer is one of its most popular features. Patients don't need to download an app or create accounts to receive calls, reducing friction for telehealth adoption. Doximity has expanded Dialer capabilities to include a free AI scribe feature (currently in beta) that transcribes visits and generates clinical notes.
