About Bicycle Health
Bicycle Health is a US telehealth practice that treats opioid use disorder with buprenorphine (Suboxone). Clinicians see you by video, can often send a prescription the same day, and follow up with regular visits; the program also includes lab tests, coaching and support groups. The company says it operates in 27 states and accepts most major commercial plans, Medicaid and Medicare, with most insured patients paying under $35 a month; a directory listing notes Medicaid places are sometimes limited. Self-pay is $249 a month including labs, with the medication billed separately by the pharmacy (roughly $0–$150 depending on coverage). Bicycle Health staff published a descriptive study in BMJ Innovations (2022) reporting that 80% of insured patients were still in treatment at 90 days; there is no randomized trial. Its website privacy policy allows sharing personal information for targeted advertising, though it says it does not sell health information.
