About SparkRx
SparkRx is the first digital therapeutic designed specifically for adolescents and young adults ages 13-22 with symptoms of depression. Developed by Limbix (acquired by Big Health in 2023), the app delivers a multi-week program based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral activation protocols. The self-guided treatment teaches skills including mood tracking, behavioral activation, problem solving, and mindfulness, designed to complement treatment by a clinician. Clinical trials demonstrated a 21% remission rate compared to 4% for control groups, with treatment response rates of 29% versus 16%. Big Health acquired Limbix to expand their evidence-based digital therapeutics into adolescent mental health.
