Doximity Scribe is an AI medical documentation assistant offered free to all US physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students with a verified Doximity account. The tool listens securely during patient visits (in-person or telehealth) and drafts clinical notes in real-time, intelligently filtering clinically relevant content from casual conversation. Doximity Scribe supports multiple note formats including SOAP, H&P, Consult notes, and simple dictation, with the ability to create custom templates. Notes can be copied into any EHR—there's no native EHR integration. The platform is HIPAA-compliant and does not store or retain audio recordings. Doximity Scribe integrates with Doximity Ask (formerly DoxGPT) for note refinement and additional documentation like patient care instructions. Enterprise licensing is available separately for hospitals and health systems.
