About the GAD-7

The Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) is a brief self-report tool designed to screen for generalized anxiety disorder and assess its severity. It is based on DSM-IV criteria for GAD and is also useful for identifying other anxiety disorders.
